What's New, Halcyon? Windows 1.0.3019.0 and Linux Beta 1.0.3016.0 Agent Release Notes

Halcyon is pleased to announce that Windows Agent 1.0.3019.0 and Linux Agent Beta version 1.0.3016.0 were released on 01/24/2024. This release contains several new features as well as a select number of improvements.

What’s New:

The Windows agent release contains the following new features and improvements:

  • Enhanced Analytics: Provides a set of file analysis and scoring capabilities for Halcyon's internal systems. It allows for the automated and on-demand processing of executable files to extract intelligence and to decide on what action to take on devices that find such files.
  • Key Material Encryption in Transit: Provides the flexibility to disable certificate pinning, streamlining deployment in enterprise settings for increased efficiency and ease of use.

The Linux agent release contains the following new features and improvements:

  • Additional Linux Distribution Support: Amazon Linux 2023 and Amazon Linux 2 (limited support without eBPF).
  • Note: The Linux agent is currently only available to customers as part of our Beta program. If you wish to evaluate the Linux agent, please reach out to your account executive and request to join the Halcyon Beta program.
