What's New, Halcyon? Halcyon Agent v1.0.1236.0 Release Notes: September 2022

Halcyon is pleased to announce several updates culminating with the release of Agent version 1.0.1236.0 after 6:00 PM Pacific Time on 09/07/2022.  Users will be able to download the latest installation package and online Agents will receive notification of an available update after this time.

What's New:

  • Console: New single login URL (Halcyon ). Over the next several weeks we will begin transitioning users who currently log in using a vanity URL to the new login method and single login URL. Each user with a login account will be notified before the transition occurs.
  • Agent: Suppress notification pop-up when Agent is in learning mode (see: Agent Behavior When Learning Mode Is Enabled)
  • Agent: Windows Defender Protection - The Halcyon Agent will prevent malicious activity from:
  • Stopping Defender real-time protection
  • Setting invalid scanner exclusions
  • Prevent Defender from loading  

Improvements:

  • API: Updated WebAPI, documentation available here: Halcyon WebAPI  
  • Console: Improved display when viewing extracted key values
  • Agent: Improved logging - reducing unnecessary writes
  • Agent: Improved logging - include logging during Agent updates
  • Agent: Updated EULA presented during GUI installations
