What's New, Halcyon? Halcyon Agent 1.0.2236.0 Release Notes: August 2023

Halcyon is pleased to announce that Agent version 1.0.2236.0 will be released after 06:00 PM Pacific Time on 08/30/2023. This release contains several new features as well as a select number of improvements.

What’s New:

The Windows agent release contains the following new features and improvements:

• Additional override control to satisfy customer requests related to file analysis
• Improvements to our Ransomware execution defenses to include additional process pedigree information
• Support for enabling Network Awareness Learning Mode which is a telemetry feature in support of our future Ransomware Data Exfiltration Protection capability

The Linux agent release contains the following new features and improvements:

• The managed beta release of the Halcyon Linux agent
• The first release of the Halcyon Linux beta agent includes support for the Halcyon Ransomware Response infrastructure (surveyor capability) as well as installation support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7, 8, and 9 (including binary compatible RHEL based distributions Oracle Linux, Rocky Linux, and AlmaLinux)
