Investigation Launched at Prestigious School Due to IT System Failure

A prestigious school in Gloucester has launched an investigation into a major problem, after its main phone line and IT systems went down. Pate's Grammar School said that due to this incident they are not able to provide all of their services such as email or online booking.

“We have informed the relevant authorities and are working closely with specialist industry experts to investigate the issue and to restore our systems and minimise the disruption. We are working as quickly as we can to address the issue and to ensure that staff and students are inconvenienced as little as possible.

“We will continue to issue updates through communications to staff, students and parents/guardians on a regular basis as and when we have more information.” The statement added that staff emails had been restored.
